Two multichannel pieces with and for deconstructed double bass recordings, made during my master in electroacoustic composition at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm.

Mold #1 is the result of many months of exploring transient separation and physical re-modeling. It is originally composed for a 29.4 speaker setup, here presented in a binaural mix for your headphone listening pleasure.

In Mold #2, I’m colliding some leftover recordings with an improvisation made on the Dataton modular system.

Together, the two pieces become something that might have more in common than just the name.
