The music to be known as Regen started out in a meeting between the halldorophone and my feedback double bass. I was using a small computer program and my right hand to influence the feedback loop of the halldorophone, while the rest of my body played the double bass.

As I often do, I packed up and left the recorded result on the computer for a few years, until I found myself with another recording, this time of driftwood, stones and seagulls from Järnäsklubb in Västerbotten, Sweden. I found a curious match with the halldorophone recordings.

The titles are old Swedish spellings of the word rain – still pondering about what the titles make room for, and how that is reflected in the music.
